Mr. Johnston was born June 30, 1930 in Youngstown, a son of Edward and Mary McElroy Johnston.
He was a 1948 Struthers High School graduate and was a self employed home builder/developer through Randall Johnston Construction for over 40 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, the former, Lois Jean Rhodes of Columbiana; two sons, Jeff (Tami) Johnston of North Lima and Randall (Kay) Johnston of San Angelo, TX; one daughter, Jodi Johnston of Columbiana; a brother, Don Johnston of Struthers; six grandchildren, Amanda Bowker, Alexis Johnston, Jeffrey Johnston, Ben (Pam) Johnston, Randy Johnston, and Kelli Johnston; one great-grandson, Benjamin Johnston; and five nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Randall was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Johnston Jr.
