Steven M. Casey, 54, Rome Township, Pa. died unexpectedly at home on Sunday August 17, 2008. He was born August 30, 1953 in Philadelphia, Pa, the son of Frank Casey and the late Ellen Clark Casey.

Steve lived every moment of his life with joyful abandon and a childlike wonder and leaves this world with no regrets or unfinished business.
His passions were his family,riding his Harley, and to live fully in the moment. Steve was an accomplished martial artist, achieving master levels, and truly loved sharing his art.
Steve worked as a self-employed builder for much of his life. After working for the past six years at the Endless Mountain Resort in Susquehanna County, Pa., he recently returned to self-employment as an Agricultural Support Specialist and Nutrient Management Planner along with his wife. Julie.

Steve is survived by his beloved wife, Julie Casey; his father, Frank Casey; a brother, Frank Casey; a sister, Colleen Bershad.
His was life touched by his many children and foster children. Deirdre Casey, Kara Casey, Drew Casey, Shiloh Casey, Nikolai Lopatofsky Quinn Casey, Amy Gana, Zachary Gana; a granddaughter, Aileanah McCrone; and several nieces and nephews.
