Leona Wallace died June 21, 2013, from complication of a stroke. She was 90. She was born October 18, 1922, in Hoff, Oregon to Henry and Amanda Moehnke. She married Fred Wallace September 7, 1945.
Mrs. Wallace was long time resident of Colton. She attended School in Mulino and Beauty College. She was a hairdresser in Beavercreek and once married, she was a wife and mother who enjoyed her family, friends and working their farm. She was a member of Molalla Church of Nazarene and a lifetime grange member.
She is survived by her son, Ted Wallace, of Colton; grandsons, Bryce, of Nevada, Tyson, of Milwaukie, and Levi of Milwaukie; and granddaughter, Heather, of Molalla; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Wallace; and daughter, Eileen.
A memorial service was held June 27, 2013 at the Molalla Church of Nazarene, Vic Dunton officiated. Leona Wallace was placed at Mountain View Cemetery.
