Helen was born January 25, 1923 in Clay County, IL to Herschel and Gladys (Logan) Higgason. She married Orse "Mink" Wyman on June 24, 1942 in Louisville. He preceded her in death on July 2, 1998.
Helen had worked at Sparton Manufacturing and was a talented musician, playing guitar in groups over the years. She was of the Christian faith, enjoyed quilting and flowers, and loved her dog "Queen". Those that knew her knew how she tended to her family.
Helen is survived by her two daughters: Marion Wyman and Brenda (Jim) Thompson; three grandchildren: Douglas McDannel, Randi Thompson, and Jami (Eric) Lewis; six great-grandchildren: Kassidi, Kari, Blake, Sierra, Chloe, Colin; two great-great-grandchildren: Troy and Dani; and several nieces and nephews including Phyllis Hill and Les Higgason.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandson (Daniel McDannel), two brothers (Lloyd and Harold Higgason), and a sister (Vivian Cantrell).
The funeral service for Helen Wyman was held at Frank & Bright Funeral Home with interment following in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Xenia.
