Ruth L. Nix, 92, formerly of Evansville, passed away at Crowne Healthcare on Sunday, November 11, 2018 in Mobile, AL.

Ruth was born October 28, 1926 in Alton, IL to the late Tom and Dola (Martin) Barnett. She had worked for the Farmer’s Daughter and later Zeidler Floral Company.

Surviving Ruth are her children, Tawana Nix of Mobile, AL and Roger (Ruth) Nix of Evansville; a sister, Sally (Glen) Snodgrass; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Pierre Funeral Home. Burial will be held in Immanuel UCC Cemetery on Ford Road
