HARRISBURG - Jason Lucas Armstrong "Jay", 21, of Harrisburg, went to be with the Lord December 15, 2013.
Born in Charlotte, he was a 2010 graduate of Hickory Ridge High School and participated as a varsity basketball player while attending there.
His immediate family includes his mother, Patti Little Wright and her husband, Timothy; his father, Dale A. Armstrong; his grandparents, Jackie and Aaron Little and Cliff Armstrong; and his step-brother, Tyler Wright.
Visitation will be 6:00pm - 8:00pm, Thursday, (tonight) at Eastside Community Church, 10132 Harrisburg Rd. Charlotte, NC 28215. A funeral service will at 11:00am, Friday, also at the church. Burial will be in Charlotte Memorial Gardens.
The Armstrong/Wright families are in the care of Gaskin Funeral Services, Matthews.
