Joseph Andrew Blaylock, one of the oldest citizens of the Marquand community, died Thursday of last week at the home of a daughter at Flat River. He had reached the advanced age of 79 years.
Mrs. Blaylock died in 1918.
Two daughters, Mrs. Albert Hahn and Mrs. Jess Kellerman, both of Lead Belt, survive.
The body was brought back to Marquand after a funeral service at the Flat River Freewill Baptist Church, and burial was at Rock Point, the old home.
