OBIT:
Laura Wheeler, a resident of Tenino for the last four years, died Thursday in an Olympia hospital. She was born February 9, 1892 in Montesano and lived in that area for many years. Mrs. Wheeler was a member of the Montesano-Elma Chapter of the Daughters of the Pioneers.
She leaves her husband, Alfred B. Wheeler, Tenino; two sons, Howard Bilyeu, Seattle; and Paul Bilyeu; one brother, Oscar Smith, Montesano; two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Wood, Montesano; and Mrs. Nita Schafer, Aberdeen; and four grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held in Elma's Whiteside Chapel, Tuesday afternoon, starting at one o'clock. The Reverend George Cummings will officiate. Burial will take place in Wynooche Cemetery in Montesano.
