Mrs. John Mahloch, 75, died early today at the home in the village
of Collins. She suffered a stroke yesterday morning.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. from the home and
at two o’clock from the St. Peter’s Lutheran church, Rockland, the
Rev. Gerhardt Schaffer officiating. Burial will be in the church
cemetery.
Mrs. Mahloch, nee Mary Robert, was born three miles south of this city
in 1862. In 1886 she was married to John Mahloch. They lived for several
years in Sheboygan and then moved to Collins, where they resided the
past 40 years. Mr. Mahloch operates a shoe shop in the village.
Survivors are the widower; four daughters, Mrs. Adolph Klann, Grimms,
Mrs. William Anhalt, Valders, Mrs. Edgar Fluehr, Kiel, Mrs. Harold
Rockhoff, Two Rivers; three sons, Edward, Collins, John, Sheboygan,
Walter, city; two brothers, Matt, city, Mark, state of Michigan; a
sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Robert, city; 26 grandchildren and three great-
grandchildren.
The body will be moved to the Mahloch home Saturday noon from the Berge
undertaking parlors, Valders.
