Robbie Faye (Harris) Bryant passed away at her home Saturday December 7, 2013. She was born in Midlothian, Texas, to Robert Leslie Harris and Emogene L. (Harrison) Harris on November 17, 1928. She graduated from Midlothian in 1947, and married George Henry Bryant on April 2, 1947. She worked for over 35 years in the child care business and retired at the age of 70. During those years she kept three generations of some families. The last couple of years she really enjoyed reconnecting, on Facebook, with many of them. Robbie Faye was a life long member of the First United Methodist Church, an avid collector of all things with/about butterflies, and an avid fan of the Dallas Mavericks. Robbie Faye loved to play bingo, dominoes, and read a good book.

Mrs. Bryant was survived by two sons, George Kenneth Bryant and wife Suzi, David Bryant and wife Tonja; and one daughter Susan Bryant all of Midlothian; five grandchilden, Jeff Bryant and Ginger of Chatfield, Jamie Cherry and Jason of Ennis, Jessica Bryant and finance' Kyle Fitzpatrick of Desoto, Nicholas Bryant and Meredith of Midlothian, and Macayla Bryant also of Midlothian; six great grandchildren, Lora and Leah Bryant of Chatfield, TJ Gregg Jr. of Ennis, Jake and Sophia Cherry of Ennis, and Anniston Bryant of Midlothian.

Mrs. Bryant was proceeded in death by her parents; husband George Henry Bryant; sister Jimmie Lou Harris; sister-in-law Lois Harris; niece Kathy (Harris) Lawhorn; great nephew Rusty Lawhorn; brother Troy Gene Harris; and son-in-law Samuel Bayer.

At Robbie Faye's request there will be no visitation nor a funeral service. Her internment was in the Midlothian Cemetery. In memory of Robbie Faye, and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Midlothian, the Midlothian Senior Citizens Center, or Ellis County Meals on Wheels.
