Paul Lynnwood "Lindy" Berry was the son of Lucretia "Lula" Parr who was the daughter of Amanda Lawson Parr, (1852-1999), and James William Parr, (1833-1906).

His father was Nathaniel Moore Berry who was the son of Walter Scott Berry, (1865-1952) and Llewellyn Harris Berry, (1865-1911).
