Death of a Well-Known Agriculturist at His Home at East Elba.
Corydon J Barber, a well-known agriculturist, died about 5 o'clock yesterday
morning at his farm at East Elba. He had suffered an attack of jaundice and
recently his heart became affected.
Mr. Barber was born on October 15, 1854, on the farm where he died, and had
lived there all his life. He is survived, besides his wife, by three sons,
Glen, who lives at home, Isaac of Bergen and Bert Barber of Alabama; a daughter,
Mrs. Ida Motz of South Byron, his aged mother, Mrs. Tryphene Barber, and six
grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from the house, the
Rev. D Shorts of Elba officiating.
