Mrs. August Habermann Sr., 95 (photo), one of the oldest residents of the county, died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ted Krueger of Collins.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Rockland. The Rev. Victor Wendland will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was born Augusta Kanter in Germany Nov. 23, 1859, and came to this country in 1873. She was married April 7, 1878 to August Habermann at Reedsville and they located on a farm in Lato_. In 1900 they moved to a farm in Rockland. The couple observed its __th wedding anniversary in 19__. Her husband died in 1944.
Surviving are a son, August Jr., of Collins; two daughters, Mrs. Ted Krueger and Mrs. Charles Zutz of Collins; brother, Rudolph of Green Bay, 16? grandchildren: __ great grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Berge Funeral Home, Valders, after 2 p.m. Wednesday. The casket will be moved to the church at 11 a.m. Thursday.
