Betty G. Bachman, 77, of Wooster, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at her residence.

Betty was born May 13, 1936, in Glasgow, Mont., the daughter of the late Otto and Edna (Larson) Kuehn and was a 1955 graduate of Glasgow High School.

She married Richard Bachman in December 1963 and he preceded her in death on July 28, 1992. She had made her home in Wooster since and retired from Community Action Head Start.

She was a member of Eastern Star and was an avid bowler. Betty loved to bake, cook and travel.

Surviving are children, Scott (Lisa) Sauder of Quitman, Texas, and Rebecca (Jack) Papp of Wooster; grandchildren, Jason, Catherine, Mason, Carson and Bailey; sisters, Dorothy (Bud) Baertsch, of Utah, and Edna Rae (Lionel) Bogut of California.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Richard Vislisil; a sister and brother-in-law, Fran (Wayne) Jones.

Private family services will be held with family interment in Crown Hill Cemetery, Orrville. Tributes may be shared at www.Murray-Funeral-Home.com.
