A native of Guilford County, he was a retired farmer and a member of Vickrey United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Estelle C. Osborne of Pfafftown; daughter, Gwen O. Perkins and husband, Ted of Winston-Salem; sons, Guy G. Osborne, Jr. and wife, Mable of Greensboro, and Ansell L. Osborne and wife, Mary of Houston, Texas; sister, Thelma Hodgin of Greensboro; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-grandchild.
