AIKEN - Mrs. Judith Hunnicutt May, 70, died Monday, June 21, 2010 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Neal Flowers officiating. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Senn, Steve Senn, David Wicker, Stanley Wicker, Tommy Shields and Mark Hudgins.

Mrs. May was born in Whitmire, SC, a daughter of the late Robert L. and Myrtle Nelson Hunnicutt. She moved to Aiken in 1961, and was a secretary for the S.C. Highway Department and also at SRP. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.

Mrs. May is survived by her loving son, Alan May, Aiken; two grandchildren, Hannah Grace and Porter Sullivan May; two sisters, Ruth (Charles) Wicker, Whitmire, SC, Beverly Senn, Whitmire; sister in law, Joy Hunnicutt; as well as several nieces and nephews; and long time family friend and caregiver, Michelle Hudgins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles S. May; brother, Billy Hunnicutt.
