EARL A. ASHTON
Gary- Services for Earl A. Ashton, 71, 2324 West Ridge Road, who died Monday in Gary Methodist hospital, will be held at 1 pm Wednesday, in Geisen Funeral Home, 3805 Adams street, Gary, with the Rev. Donald M. Weber officiating. Burial will be in Robbins cemetery, Chesterton.
He was a retired foreman of the roll shop of Inland Steel company. He was a member of the Valparaiso American Legion, Charles Pratt Post 94.
Surviving are two sons, Robert M. of Valparaiso and Donald H. of Wheeling, Ill.; one daughter, Miss Lois Ashton of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Vina Pearson and Mrs. Mabel Johnson, both of Valpariaso; one brother, Dale of Valparaiso; and four grandchildren.
