Hazel Irene Bell

On Sunday, December 15, 2013 our Heavenly Father chose to bring on home a saint who was the definition of a godly wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Hazel Bell age 95 of Morristown passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013 at her home.

Mrs. Bell was a lifetime member of Enterprise Baptist Church, a Ladies Sunday School Teacher and Directed the Church Christmas plays for many years; she was also the Vacation Bible School director, a WMU charter member and a beautiful voice in the church choir.

She was respected and honored by the members of Enterprise Baptist Church and all who knew her. She impacted more lives for Jesus Christ during these 95 years than anyone will ever be able to count or acknowledge.

Her interest were gardening, planting flowers, cooking, family get-togethers, shopping with granddaughters, and most of all spending time with and taking care of her husband and family. She owned and operated a small store on St. Paul Rd during her younger years. She, alongside her husband, began and operated a dairy farm on Springvale Road for nearly 40 years and the farm is in still in operation by the family today.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Bublee and Eliza Gentry; sister, Tennie Bell Gentry; infant children, Betty Lorene and William Paul.

She is survived by her husband of an amazing 76 years of marriage, Porter Hayward Bell; sons, Doyle (Darlene) Bell and Roy Gene (Delorice) Bell; grandchildren, Chris Bell, Shalain Bell Davis, Bethany Bell Fields, Brandl Bell; great grandchildren, Anna Burnett, Dawson Bell, Karis Bell, Caleb Fields, Kierstin Bell and Royston Bell and many loved ones, extended family and church friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Enterprise Baptist Church and funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Harold Noe and Rev. Chris Bell officiating. Family and friends will meet at St. Paul Cemetery Friday, December 20, 2013 for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
