LIBERTY CENTER WOMAN DIED WHILE VISITING
MRS. PRISCILLA ERNST, WIDOW
OF ADAM ERNST, DIES AT
FORT MADISON
Mrs. Priscilla Ernst, of Liberty Center, who has been visiting at the home of her sister[..Actually her daughter...], Mrs. Ida Thrasher, of Ft. Madison, Indiana[...Actually Iowa...] took suddenly ill and passed away at that place at 9:30 Thursday morning.
Mrs. Ernst was a widow of Adam Ernst, and has for many years been a resident of Liberty Center. One son Frank Ernst, of Gary, Indiana is the only relative of her immediate family that survives beside the sister.[...Actually her daughter...] Two grandchildren Frieda and Mona Ernst also survive her.
Mrs. Ernst was one of the most highly respected ladies of her community and had many friends. She was a member of the Methodist church of Liberty Center and has been one of its most active workers. She has been a resident of Liberty Center for the past 25 years and has kept a home for her grandchildren for a number of years since the death of their mother, Mrs. Frank Ernst.
The date of the funeral has not been set, but Mossburg cemetery will be the place of burial.
The body arrived from Ft. Madison this afternoon and was taken to the James Merriman home, where it may be viewed at any time.
