Memorial services for Laura Sue Sullivan Milner, 86, will be held Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Philip's Episcopal Church with Reverend Steve Bilsbury officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Laura Sue Sullivan Milner died in Dallas, Texas on December 15th, 2013 after a long battle with Alzheimer's . Sue was born August 1, 1927 in Ranger, Texas, to William Ralph and Anna V. Sullivan. The family moved to Ardmore, Oklahoma when Sue was three years old, and she remained a life-long resident of Ardmore. She graduated from Ardmore High School in 1945.

Preceding her in death were her parents and husband Charles Robert "Bob" Milner. Sue and Bob were married in Ardmore in 1948 and celebrated their forty-ninth wedding anniversary in the year of his death, 1997.

Sue was an active parishioner at St. Philip's Episcopal Church in Ardmore. There she was instrumental in the establishment of the local chapter of the Daughters of the King, a spiritual service group, dedicated to a life of Prayer, Service, and Evangelism. She was also actively involved as a member of the church choir, ECW, and other church activities. Sue greatly loved taking care of her family and reaching out to others around her, both at church and in the surrounding community. She volunteered at the Ardmore Lodge and at the Bargain Box , along with other organizations.

Sue is survived by her sister Joanne Henry of Salem, Illinois; two sons and daughters-in law, Bob and Mary Clare Milner of Dallas, Texas, and Tom and Debbie Milner of The Woodlands, Texas; five grandchildren, Charlie, Andrew, Lauren, Brian and Bess, and great-granddaughter Lucy.
