Officers Olivas and Sikes of the state highway patrol Investigated. Henderson L. Webb, 55 years old, employee of the Kaiser steel mill at Fontana, died at St. Bernardine's hospital at 6:20 a.r.i. yesterday of injuries suffered Sunday night when his car was struck by a Pacific Electric train at the Orange street crossing in Rialto, according to Coroner R. E. Williams. Mr. Webb was traveling south on Orange street, and the special Pacific Electric train of five cars, was eastbound. The accident occurred shortly after 8 p.m. J.T.Wilkinson of San Gabriel Traffic Accidents motorman, said the train was traveling about 15 miles an hour and the' automobile approximately five miles an hour. He said the automatic crossing signal was in operation and that he had sounded the whistle for the crossing, according to Deputy Coroner Harry Evans. Mr. Webb's body was removed to Ingold's Funeral home in Rialto pending an inquest A native of Plano, Texas, Mr. Webb had resided in California six years. He was a member of A. F. of L. union No. 802 in San Bernardino. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Dosia Webb of Rialto; three sons, Henry Webb, a merchant seaman, Everett Webb, who is serving with the army at Brigham, Utah, and William Webb, who is stationed with the army at Maxwell field, Ala.; . a daughter, Mrs. W. A. (Maudena) Rhodes of Alanreed, Texas; two brothers, Abe Webb of Huntington Park and James Webb of Compton; two sisters, Mrs. Eunice Castner of Huntington Park and Mrs. Esther Simpson of Levelland, Texas, and four grandchildren.
