Rebecca Ann Boyce of Selbyville, DE went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 6, 2013.

Rebecca was born on January 19, 1954 in Lewes, Delaware to the late Lorenzo L. and Jeanette Collins Boyce.

She worked as a cashier. She was an Alan Jackson Fan. She enjoyed cooking and baking, was outspoken, yet loved unconditionally and never judged anyone. She loved the Lord, her family and adored her grandchildren. She was also a worry wart- but out of concern and love for her family and friends.

She is survived by four children; son; Roger Smith and wife Amy of Dagsboro, DE; daughter, Amy Clark and husband Billy of Selbyville, DE; son, Charles Lessner of Laurel, DE; and Joseph Lessner and wife Angel of Bridgeville, DE; sisters, Jan Allison and husband Henry, Faye Shockley and husband John, brothers, Robert Boyce and wife Patsy, Eben Boyce, and Brian Boyce and wife Sandy, eight grandchildren, Megan, Garrett, Logan, Kaitlyn, Dominic, Carlos, Gabe and Makayla. She is also survived by a special friend and companion of 17 years, Bill Calhoun, beloved feline friends “Socks” and “Tinkerbelle” as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, July 12, 2013 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966, where friends may call after 10 AM. Burial will follow at Millsboro Cemetery. Pastor Robert Boyce will officiate.
