Joshua (Josh) Goldston Watkins, beloved son, father, and husband returned home to his Heavenly Father on December 16, 2013.

Josh was born on August 11, 1976 to loving parents, Greg and Lisa (Burghardt) Watkins.

He graduated from Hunter High School in 1994 and was called to serve in the Lithuania, Vilnius LDS mission. Elder Watkins served faithfully from 1995-1997. One of his former companions described him as "always upbeat, even when compensating for moments of despair, truly a ‘give you the shirt off his back' kind of guy… a very open soul."

Josh was a loving father, always cracking cheesy jokes and cherishing playful moments with his four beautiful children. His fun-loving personality made him the favorite uncle to many of his nieces and nephews. Josh loved everyone and had a way of making everyone feel important.

He was always found in the service of others.

Josh was gifted in many areas of his life. He was an avid reader and a talented writer. He loved restoring old cars and helping friends and neighbors with car repairs. Josh was also a gun enthusiast and loved collecting guns and repairing them. The love of the outdoors was a hallmark of his life. He loved taking his jeep to Moab to climb the rocks.

Josh worked for Hill Air Force base as a process improvement analyst for the last 10 years. He was a hard worker and dedicated employee.

Josh will be dearly missed.
