MARQUARDT - Christopher, aged 46, of Hicksville, NY passed away at home surrounded by his wife and children after a courageous battle with cancer.

Beloved husband of Nicole (née Moreno). Cherished and amazing father of Anya and Emeline. Beloved son of Herbert and Jacqueline Marquardt. Dear brother of Lynette (Jason) Lombardo, cherished uncle of Jason Jr.

Loving brother-in-law of Michelle Cerrato, Amanda Moreno and Paul Moreno. Adored uncle to Brian, Peter and Matthew Cerrato. Dear son-in-law to Paul and Elaine Moreno and the late Eleanor Beyer.

Chris is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and long-time friends. Predeceased earlier this year by Aunt Lorraine Cunetta.

Proud employee of Sysco Foods. Lifelong Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees fan. Chris was an inspiration to so many. He never gave up hope and showed us the true meaning of strength. He is our hero. Chris was loved and respected by all who had the honor and pleasure of knowing him. He will be forever missed and eternally in our hearts. Until we meet again, our heart is full of memories, with pride we speak your name, though life goes on without you, it will never be the same.

Services held at the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, Hicksville, NY. Funeral Mass at Holy Family RC Church, Hicksville. Entombment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury.
