The beloved Pamela Pauletta Jiles, age 69 years of Bay City, MI. was born January 30th, 1944 and transitioned from this earth on December 6th, 2013 from a lingering illness.

Pamela is survived by her husband, Levi B. Jiles, Sr. with whom she shared 51 golden years of matrimony. She has five remaining children:

J1 - Tessah Jiles-Sanders (Malachi) of Houston, Texas; J2 - Geneva Jiles-Smith (Patrick) of Mesa, Arizona; J3 - Levi B. Jiles, Jr; J4 - Mark A. Jiles; and J5 - Princeton A. Jiles all of Glendale, Arizona and her seven grandchildren Levi B. Jiles, III, Dalton E. Jiles, Levette B. Jiles, Lejenn B. Jiles, Unique J. Smith, Atlantis S. Jiles and her shining light Kingston Alexander Jiles.

The cherished Pamela was predeceased by her father Robert "Pat" Patterson, and her mother Atlantis "Miss Doll" A. Simpson. She leaves behind her siblings Robert, Christopher and Linda Simpson and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pamela graduated from Bay City Central High School in 1962, and went on to pursue matrimony, motherhood and the art of raising a loving and close knit family. She also pursued many interest dealing with the creative arts, modern dance, and various community service organizations. She spent many years as a retail consultant, managed an art gallery, and earned her residential real-estate license in Scottsdale, Az. A very spiritual Pamela also created her own ministry entitled "Joy In Christ Ministry, Inc."

Pamela extended her love to serve as a mother figure to many and provided prayer to whomever she felt the Lord put on her spirit to pray for, be it her family, her close friends or strangers on the street.

Pamela and her joyous spirit, her precious soul and her unconditional love will be fondly remembered and sadly missed as she rests in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at the Bay City Academy (the former Madison Ave. United Methodist Church) at the corner of Madison and Ninth. The Pastor John L. Williams, Sr. officiating, with burial the follow at Floral Gardens Cemetery. Visitation hours will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the Penzien-Steele Funeral Home. Pamela will lie instate at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
