Wendy Renee Hicks, 45, passed away on to the next plain Friday, Dec. 13, 2013. Funeral: 3 p.m. Thursday in Moore Funeral Home Chapel, 1219 N. Davis Drive, in Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home. Wendy was a very loving woman who touched many hearts. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She loved her family very much, most especially her grandchildren. Though Wendy lived through many years of excruciating pain, she was always there for family and friends. Wendy believed that love and family were the most important things in life. Wendy will always remain a constant beacon in her husband's life. She was an angel on earth. She now has her wings! Survivors: Her loving husband of 25 years, Kevin Hicks; mother, Mary Birkes; sons, Richard Daugherty, Cash Bellew and wife, Suzin, Sean Hicks and wife, Shelley; daughter, Tiffany Hicks and husband, Blake; grandchildren, Kali, Ryder, Brooke, Reagan, Jax and Landyn; brother, Greg Schreiner; sisters, Michelle Ricks and husband, Clyde, and Jan Harrington and husband, Kelly; numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family, Betty and Behzad, Kassie Arn and family, Samantha Pernyak, Dawn Potter, and Bruce and Jamie Stone.
