Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M. Saturday, December 21, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at noon until service time. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, with military rites conducted by Macon County Honor Guard. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
Mr. Willis was born September 19, 1917, in Decatur, the son of Robert and Bertha (Casner) Willis. He worked as an electrician for IBEW Local #146, where he was a 65 year member and was initiated in 1948. Mr. Willis enjoyed gardening, fixing things with his hands, and cooking. He was a WWII Air Force Veteran, and was a member of St. James and Patrick Parish, the VFW, and the YWCA.
Mr. Willis is survived by his daughter Jonna Willis and husband Lorenzo Colunga of Dallas, TX; son Tracey Willis of Bunker, MO; grandchildren Tabatha Braden and Jessica Willoughby; great grandchildren Cannon Braden and Liam Willoughby.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Robert "Bobby" Willis, two brothers, and three sisters.
