Steve Nicholas passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013. A graduate of Most Holy Rosary, Steve went on to Gannon College and received his bachelor's degree. After working in manufacturing for many years, an aspiring actor, Steve went back to school at the Pace University's Actors Studio Drama School. After receiving his Masters of Fine Art, Steve was employed at Pace in NYC for the last seven years. Steven is survived by his brothers, Kevin (Sandy), Paul (Tammi); sister, Cathy (Joe); nephew, Jason; nieces, Stephanie and Samantha. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2013 at the Maurer Funeral Home, 300 Second St., Liverpool. A prayer service will be held 9:15 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2013 at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 425 Beechwood Ave., Liverpool. Rite of Committal and burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Fingerlakes or the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University.
