Wife of Albert E. Galloway 26 Mar 1899 - Apr 1976. Elizabeth Juanita Henry Galloway, age 92, beloved wife of the late Albert Eugene Galloway, (an engraver for the Florida Times Union for over 30 years), went to be with him and our Lord on Sunday, January 31, 1999. Juanita was born in Jacksonville March 9, 1906 and she leaves behind 4 children: Henry George of Tampa, Albert Bruce of Jacksonville, Edward Eugene of Pinehurst, NC, and Sheila Faye of Jacksonville, her beloved niece, Jean Layton Cleveland of Marietta, SC; 8 grandchildren, and 10 greatgrandchildren. Nita married Gene in Clinton, SC and they soon moved to a home off Old King's Road where they raised their children and where ``Momma Nita'' temporarily housed and cared for over 400 foster infants in a 30-year period. The couple then became longtime residents of Riverside Park Presbyterian Apartments; they have many friends and family in Jacksonville and in the Carolinas.
