Celesta Herrmann was born in Cincinnati on July 18, 1901 She weighed a normal seven pounds, eight ounces. Her first words were "MEAT MEAT". She weighted 150 pounds in the fifth grade. At 295 she dropped out of high school. She married Frank Geyer, a trim man of 135 pounds. Dolly did shows for Ringling Bros throughout 1930s and 1940s. Her four feet, eleven inches supported 555 pounds and sevnty-nine inch bust. Her doctor ordered her to diet or die. She went on a diet over the next fourteen months and lost 443 pounds. The Guinness Book of World Records recognized her achievement as the greatest weight loss in the shortest period of time. Dolly Dimples was to be no more. Celesta died February 1982.
