Logan Smith, 24, of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, passed from this life Sunday, December 15, 2013, at St. Bernard's Medical Center.
He was born January 15, 1989, in Jonesboro, Arkansas and was a lifetime resident of Lawrence County. He was a 2007 graduate of Hoxie High School, a masonry and of the Baptist belief.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Donald Hunt; paternal grandfather, Robert G. Burns and uncle, Danny Vaughn.
He is survived by parents, Mark and Paige Vanbrook of Walnut Ridge; adopted father, Garrett Smith of Walnut Ridge; brothers, Matthew and Justus Vanbrook both of the home; step-brothers, Andrew Vanbrook of Walnut Ridge and Christopher Vanbrook of Little Rock; maternal grandmother, Brenda Hunt of Walnut Ridge; paternal grandmother, Mildred Burns of Sikeston, Missouri; maternal great-grandparents, O.M. and Sybil Burnham of Swifton; aunts, Diane Vaughn of Walnut Ridge and Brande Davis of Hoxie; uncle, Adam Hunt of Walnut Ridge.
A Memorial Service was held at the Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge.
Arrangements were by House of Gregg.
