Mrs. Linda Knox Wilson, age 72, passed away Saturday morning, December 14, at her home in Plains.

Funeral services are planned for 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 17, at Plains Baptist Church, with Rev. Hugh Harbort and Rev. David McLemore officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday evening, December 16, between the hours of 6:00 & 8:00 PM at Hancock Funeral Home, 427 South Lee Street, and at other times at the family residence, 108 West Church Street in Plains.

Born August 30, 1941 in Athens, TN, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Ray Knox and Della Amanda Lee Key Knox.

She was a member of Plains Baptist Church since 1977, where she served as a choir member, Sunday School teacher, G.A. leader, Secretary, Church Training leader, and Co-Director of Vacation Bible School. Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker and a member of the Precept Bible Study.

Survivors include her husband, Bro. Don Wilson of Plains; daughter, Donna Pottorff (Mark) of Atlanta; sons: Mark Wilson (Angela) of Pembroke, Steve Wilson (Karen) of Buford, and Phil Wilson of Americus; 8 grandchildren; sister, Pam Maddux (Larry) of Salem, IL; and several nieces & nephews.
