Jennifer lee McElroy was born Jan 27, 1972, in Meeker, Co, daughter of Ronnie and Debra (Wagner) McElroy. She was raised in Axial, Co and Craig, Co. She attended school in Craig. she went to college at Denver Buisness medical school where she got her degree as a medical secretary.
She worked at numerous medical clinics in Craig and surrounding areas as billing administrator. Most recently at a OB/GYN Office in Glenwood Springs.
She was united in marriage to Tim Bertram June 10, 1990 in Craig. They became parents to Kayla and Tommie, and made their home in Hayden, later divorced she married Cory Mitchell . Jennifer later married Ryan May on July 3, 2013 were they lived in Rifle.
She enjoyed times with her family, going to Country Jam with her Sis and Bro, Shopping listening to music, dancing, camping with family and friends. Snuggling with a good book watching a good movie and social networking on Facebook, she always had a smile for everyone, most of all she loved her children. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother aunt and friend, she loved Jesus.
Jennifer died near Rifle, Co December 11 , 2013 She had been missing.
Jennifer is survived by husband Ryan May of Rifle, Co. Her daughter Kayla Bertram of Craig, Co. Her son Thomas Bertram of Hayden, her grandson Jaden Matthew Ray Holden of Craig, her parents Ronnie and Debra McElroy of Craig, her sister Laura Berg of Grand Junction and her children Taya and Hailey and her grandmother Juanita Wagner of Dinosaur as well as many aunts , uncles and Cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Clell Wagner.
Her grandmother violet Thompson and her grandfather Kermit McElroy.
Funeral services were held On Tuesday, Dec 17, 2013 at the Journey at First Baptist with Leonard Browning officiating. She was layed to rest in Craig Cemetery.
