Kentucky, Louisville Dr. Samuel G. Eubanks Jr., 72, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Originally from Memphis, TN, Dr. Eubanks was a devoted husband and father who provided 37 years of service to the Commonwealth of Kentucky. A graduate of Manassas High School, Memphis State University, and Meharry Medical College, Dr. Eubanks was a well-respected physician who touched the lives of many people across the Southeast. He was a member of the Meharry Medical College Alumni Association and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Dr. Eubanks will be fondly remembered for his pleasant disposition, caring nature, and his generosity. Dr. Eubanks is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Hazel P. Eubanks, daughter Monica L. Eubanks, son Samuel G. Eubanks III (Tamekia), four sisters, and four brothers. Visitation: Thursday, December 19 from 10-11 a.m., Funeral Service to follow. St. Luke Church, 7491 Hacks Cross Road, Olive Branch, MS 38654. Dr. Eubanks will be laid to rest in Southwoods Memorial Park, 5484 Hacks Cross Rd, Memphis, TN 38125.
