Tammy L. Chambers Jackson, of Crozet, VA, wife of Vincent S. Jackson for 17 years, entered into rest December 11, 2013, in Charlottesville, VA. She was 49.

Mrs. Jackson was born May 30, 1964 in York, a daughter of the late John and Earlene (Chambers) Pruitt.

Tammy was a graduate of William Penn Senior High School and had been employed at Harley Davidson Company.

She was a member of Faith Community Church in York.

Tammy is survived by her husband; sisters and brother, Rhonda Franklin, Kevin Pruitt, Ebony Pruitt, and Dayna Pruitt; children, Alashya Larue, Dalia Amaya, Tia V. Jackson, Carlos Jackson, Alexis Jackson, Vincette Jackson, Natalie Fisher, Van Allen Jackson, Tia Y. Daniels, and Nicole G. Howard; and numerous grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tonya Lynn Sexton.

A viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 2114 W. Market St. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Marshall Leonard officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
