She was born June 29, 1965, in Phoenix to Walt and Beverly (Searcy) Gibford.
On July 8, 1993, she married Kelly N. Barnes in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
Survivors include her husband; sons, Andrew Barnes of Fort Collins, Colo., and Nicholas Barnes, Benjamin Barnes and Noah Barnes, all of Litchfield; father, Walter Gibford of Wilmington, N.C.; sisters, Kara Gibford-Markman of Avon, Minn., and Kate McIntyre of Garrison, Minn.; grandchildren, Isaiah and McKayla; daughter-in-law, Amanda; nephews, David and Kevin Markman and Konner McIntyre; and nieces, Michele McIntyre and Elisabeth Markman.
She grew up in San Jose, Calif., and received her education at Humboldt State University.
She and Kelly lived in Longmont, Colo., where she was a homemaker.
Later, the couple relocated to Litchfield and she worked at Target in Kearney.
She was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
Kelly enjoyed Bible study, home schooling, gardening, photography, being with her family and singing with friends and loved spending time with children.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly.
