HIGH POINT - Mr. Fred Ossie Kerr, 75, of 1605 Bolingbroke Rd., died at 1:25 p.m. Friday in High Point Regional Hospital.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday in First Reformed United Church of Christ, 901 English Rd., conducted by the Rev. Bud Hill. Burial will be in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery.

He was born May 1, 1921, in High Point, a son of Gaither Ebenezer and Mary Norcises Hudson Kerr. He attended High Point city schools and High Point University and was employed with American Furniture Manufacturers Association for 17 years, retiring Dec. 31, 1984. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army with the field artillery and was a volunteer with Mobil Meals. A member of First Reformed United Church of Christ, he was also a member of the E.T. Hedrick Bible Class, the Consistory, and chairma n of the Finance Committee of the church. After retirement, he operated Frames of Kerr. On April 21, 1944, he married Mabel Wood who survives of the home.

Surviving in addition to his wife are one daughter, Mrs. Roma Kerr Colglazier of Richmond, Va.; one son, Fred Richard Kerr of Clemmons; and five grandchildren.
