Victor Allen Cox, 80 and a resident of Copperas Cove, TX, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Oklahoma City to the late Eugene and Clora Mae Carter Cox, Victor joined the United States Air Force where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. In the years following he lived and worked as a mechanic in Glen Burnie, MD and at the Cox Tomato Company and Oklahoma City Tomato Company in Oklahoma City, OK.

He loved dancing, bowling, rollerskating, reading, tinkering, and sitting outside with his beloved dog Missy. He leaves behind his four daughters, Leah Benner, Nellie Wright, Michelle Rush, and Rebecca Borja; ten grandchildren, Grace Cook, Aaron Schisler, Alex Hopkins, Courtney Wright, Gregory Cox, Deja Rush, Cheyenne Cox, Ryan Wright, Chloe Wright, and Carlos Borja; one future great-grandchild; his life-long friend Marva S. Cox, mother of three of his daughters; his siblings Fern Kenworthy, Hal Cox, the late Corrinna Upton, the late Betty Barnes, and three half-sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He will be memorialized at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.
