Ruth H. Nooney, 95, passed away peacefully at Julie Blair Nursing Home on Saturday, March 26, 2011. Born in Rensselaer, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Sadie Pendleton. Ruth started her career as a cosmeto-logist, and later sold products for Avon for over 30 years. She was a former member of the Eastern Star and past member of the Elsmere Fire Department Auxiliary. In her free time, Ruth liked crocheting, knitting, and tending to her flowers. She enjoyed homemaking, and loved her cat, Jackie. Ruth was predeceased by her loving husband, Louis, and sister, Janet. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Laura Talbot of Amherst, Ohio, and her long time friends, Earl and Jean Smith of Delmar. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Memory Gardens, Colonie. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Capital District Humane Association, P.O.
