RONALD DAVID MOSLEY, age 73, of Kendallville, died on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Mr. Mosley was born in Lackey, Kentucky on March 29, 1940 to D.C. Mosley and Hershey (Click) Mosley. He graduated from Prestonsburg High School in Prestonsburg, Kentucky in 1958 and entered the United States Navy where he honorably served his country as a radio and communication specialist for ten years during the Vietnam War. He married Geneva Bryant on December 22, 1967 in Clintwood, West Virginia. After his service in the Navy, Ron worked in communications with the Noble County Sheriff's Department dispatch two years and later began his career with the City of Kendallville Police Department. He worked for the city for twenty three years before retiring. Ron was a member of the Bethel Christian Baptist Church and the American Legion Post #86 of Kendallville.

Survivors include:
His wife, Geneva Mosley of Kendallville.
Daughter, Carmen and Rod Howdyshell of Angola.
Daughter, Jennifer Mosley of Kendallville.
Three grandchildren: Lauren Howdyshell, Logan Howdyshell both of Angola, and Lauryl Aleshire of Kendallville.

He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Georgia Meyers and Dorothy Watkins; and his brothers, Mart Allen, John S. Allen, Billy Allen, Loye Thurston.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 17, 2013 from 4:00-8:00pm at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 11:00am at Hite Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.
