He was owner and operator of Foltz Dry Cleaners on Jefferson St., and prior to that for 35 years, he had been manager of the Dry Cleaning Department of Troy Laundry Co. He was a member of Alsatia Club, and St. John's Lutheran Church. Prior to World War II, he was in Company B. of the National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. S. Frances Reynolds Foltz; a son, David A. Foltz, Hagerstown; sisters, Mrs. Lucille Charles and Mrs. Naomi Evans, both of Hagerstown; and brothers, Frederick Foltz, Salisbury, Charles Foltz, San Francisco; and George Foltz, Hagerstown.
Services were held at the Rouzer-Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home; burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
