COTNER, REV. JAMES E. - entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 11th, at Tennova Hospital. Member of First Calvary Baptist Church. Survived by devoted wife, Betty Rose Martin Cotner; children, Rev. Bruce Martin, and Rosa (Oscar) Polite; brother, Walter (Lucile) Cotner; sisters, Laura Manuel, Elizabeth Cotner, and Helen (Carl) Locke; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; a host of nieces and nephews; and friends to include Dr. Jeffrey Swilley and staff; First Calvary Baptist Church family. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 17th, from 11:00 a.m. to noon at First Calvary Baptist Church, 1750 Delaware Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37921. Rev Benjamin Lewis, Jr. officiating. Interment to follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
