Daniel A Deppen of Willingboro, NJ., peacefully departed this life on Friday Dec.06, 2013. He was 72.
Dan was born in Ashland, PA on June 7, 1941 son of Elmer and Elsie Deppen. He graduated from High School in New York and worked as a draftsman for General Electric, until joining the Army in 1963, serving overseas in Germany.
Dan, an entrepreneur, was the owner of De-Max Inc. and then for the last 20 years, DeppenWoodProducts. He took pride in his businesses and relished the friends he made along the way. He had a passion for animals, especially his dogs, and enjoyed woodworking, fast cars, fishing and cooking.
Dan is survived by his wife Margit (Richter), and his three sons and their spouses; Daniel (Gina), John (Calista) and David (Sue); his five Grandchildren, Cally, Daniel, Sylvia, Payton and Cody; his two sisters, Joan Stauffenberg and Anne Negrin; and his many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
A memorial service celebrating Dan's life will be held on Saturday, Dec.14, at Goes-Scolieri Funeral Home, 212 Levitt Parkway, Willingboro, NJ. Relatives and Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m. Graveside interment will follow in Monument Cemetery in Beverly, NJ.
