Nellie Lanham Watts, age 77, Lexington Road, Danville, widow of Jack J. Watts, died Saturday, February 12, 2005 at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

Born December 23, 1927 in Harrodsburg, KY, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Martha (Black) Lanham. She was a registered nurse and a member of the Salt River Baptist Church.

Survivors include: one son, Jack Boyd Watts of Danville; two daughters, Cheryl Pittman of Homewood, AL, and Darlene and her husband James W. Ison of Danville and five grandchildren, Crystal Madden, Daniel Holifield, Tyler Watts, Cameron Harris, and Rebel Ann Watts. She was preceded in death by a daughter Jane Lee Watts.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Monday, February 14th at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Paul Readnour and Tim Estes & Bobby Logue. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers are: Wallace Stinett, Steve Hamlin, Randy Phillips, Chuck Lawson, Mike Barnett, and Terry Bugg. Honorary bearers are Larry Dearmond, Roy Grimes, John Gary Curtsinger, Tim Knight, and Tom Denny.

Visitation will be after 5:00 PM Sunday and Monday prior to the service at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
