Jimmy P. Hollis "Hoot" passed away Friday, December 13, 2013 at the age of 70.
He was a native of Alexandria, La and a resident of Baton Rouge, La.
Jimmy was an avid LSU baseball and football fan. He loved camping, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Hollis; children, Jeff Hollis and wife Heather, and Jennifer Hollis Diamond and husband Trey.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother; Marie (Tookie) Satterthwaite; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Darrel and Joyce Sing.
Visitation will be held at 8:30 am until funeral service at 10:30 am on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Our Lady of Mercy, 445 Marquette Ave. Baton Rouge, La. 70806.
Interment to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 1187 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge, La. 70816.
Pallbearers are Blake Hollis, Grant Hollis, Trey Diamond, Keith Sing, Kerry Parent, Mike Belanger, and honorary pallbearer Steve Sing.
