Death of A. A. Sawyers
Andrew A. Sawyers died of cancer in the home of his brother-in-law, Samuel Wade in Clinton yesterday morning, age 60 years, 7 months and 26 days. He was born in Ohio, in 1840 and came to the county with his parents in 1844.
In 1869 he was married to Miss Lucy Beebe and five children were born to them. He moved to Nebraska several years ago, but returned to Clinton last fall.
Funeral was held at the residence at 8 o'clock today, conducted by Rev. Gilliland. Intermet in Woodlawn.
