Following high school he began working for S D Warren Paper Co and worked there for over 40 years retiring in the mid 1980's.
He is survived by three daughters Jane Anderson; Donna Acin; Mary Emmons all of Portland, ME; a son Thomas Anderson of Portland, ME; a sister Betty Wilson of Portland, ME; a brother Donald Anderson of Gorham, ME.
He is predeceased by his wife Jane in 2000; a son Dennis B in 1997; a brother Donald Anderson and a sister Evelyn Hoyt.
