Clarence William Freeman, 90, of Clarksville died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 1999. He was a native of Newton County, son of the late John and Emma Jane Robinson Freeman, retired timber employee, and attended the Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Charles Holt of Lamar, and Pat Fitzgerald and Linda Lloyd, both of Clarksville; two sons, Fred Freeman and Charles Freeman, both of Clarksville; three brothers, Clifford Freeman of Clarksville, Dewey Freeman of Dayton, Ohio, and Corby Freeman of Concord, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral was at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Edward Parsons officiating. Burial was in Lamar Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Holt, Mike Holt, Jeff Holt, Kevin Lloyd, Roger Lloyd, and Tim Freeman.
