Charles Truman Gunter, 69, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013 in Conroe, Texas. He was born April 26, 1944 in Houston, the son of the late Curtis and Jessie Gunter of Willis, Texas. He worked for 21 years for Pepsi and after retiring from Pepsi worked for Borden's for 11 Years. Charles enjoyed gardening, Nascar races and being with his friends and family. Charles enjoyed life to the fullest.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 Years, Bobbie, Daughter, Renee Sorrells and husband, Matt, of Huntsville, Texas, and son Jason Gunter and wife Heather of Willis Texas, and 4 grandchildren, Morgan Dryer, Samantha Sorrells, Taylor Gunter and Michael Gunter.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday December 9, 2013 at Metcalf Funeral Directors in Conroe. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Metcalf Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at the Willis Cemetery in Willis.
