Laura Jean Frandsen Gray, 77, passed away December 12, 2013 in Panguitch. She was born February 19, 1936 in Panguitch to George Harry and Almina Worthen Frandsen. She married the love of her live, Thomas Gray, January 13, 1967 in the Salt Lake Temple.
When Laura and Tom married, they bought a house in Kearns and raised their family there. She was a stay at home mom and got to spend many quality hours with her children, and later her grand and great-grandchildren. She attended BYU where she taught ball room dancing. She also played the guitar and enjoyed singing.
She is survived by her husband of Panguitch; daughters, Georgeann Waters and Carla Jean (Fred) Martinez both of Salt Lake City; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; siblings, Clark (Gwen) Frandsen of Panguitch, Peter Frandsen of Salt Lake City; sister-in-law, Florence Frandsen of Panguitch. She is preceded in death by parents; brother, Dan Frandsen.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Panguitch 1st LDS Ward Chapel, 550 South 100 West, where friends may call on Monday from 11:30 to 12:30. Burial will be in the Panguitch Cemetery. Funeral directors, Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
